I rele wanna get my belly button pierced but my mom won't let me, I just wanna see what it looks like adn how it feels. Can I peirce it myself, leave it in for 2 weeks, and then take out the piercing will my belly button close? thx

okay well my parents wont let me get my belly button pierced so i decided to pierce my belly button myself and no its not worth it.. i had mine in for about 3 days and it got infected so i took it out.. and you leaving it in 2 weeks? i dont think thats a good idea so i'd suggest you to get it done after your 18

I am 11 and i habe had my belly button peirced since Janurary. You dont want to peirce it yourself trust me. It hurt me when i got mine peirced now other people might say otherwise. But they are really easy to get infected. If you was to peirce it yourself you definetly dont want to fool with it often the only time you need to fool with it is when you twist it which you should do every 6-8 hours. But if you have someone else to peirce it you still dont want to fool with it. If you get it peirced get some antibioticx3 it works really good! Hope I Helped!

okay, i have my bellybutton pierced, and im 13. When i went to the tatoo place to get it done, i told them that my friend wanted to pierce hers herself, and they said NEVER do that b/c it gets infected really easy and you could have problems with it. And about the hurting thing....it doesn't hurt too bad, it doesw, but not alot.

Omg i got my bellybutton pierced and it hurt like hell.. so no don't pierce it yourself. youre retarded if you do.. besides they have like hoops that they have to pierce with if your gettig it done the first time.. and yeah its gonna close in 2 weeks.. i have to leave mine in for 5 weeks.

Ya i really wouldnt pierce it yourself b/c it could get majorly infected it is not pretty. I would just listen to your moms advice... unless your 18 and up then you can get it without parents concent but if your not old enough you proly wont wanna do it just yet. It is alot of work to take care of and you have to buy different products just for a little ring in your stomache. Hope i could help.

dont do it yourself so many things can go wrong.it will close up after 2 weeks and it isnt the best idea to do it urself because when you get professionally done they give u thi medication that you have to soak your belly button in so it WONT get infected.hope this helps.

Uhm.. I would *NOT* suggest pieRcing it youRself, PERIOD. Especially if you can only leave it in foR TWO WEEKS oR so; it's just not woRth the Risk of infection [and maybe even 'getting in tRouble'??] But if you MUST do this.. it WILL close up....

oh, please do not pierce it yourself! so many things can go wrong. if you are trying to keep it a secret from your mom & it gets infected because you did it yourself, you'll probably be in big trouble. wait it out, you may grow out of the stage your in & don't want it anymore. surely, if you want it bad enough, your mom will let you get it done when she thinks you're ready for it.
