When you shave your bikini line, what kind of shaving cream or gel should you use, and lotions? i know not scented ones, but i have horrible bumps, and sometimes it itches soooo bad! can you please give me some advice!
girlygirl answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 2:42 pm: Hey Kels.... if you're shaving, only shave in the direction the hair grows. It doesn't get as close (you need to shave every day) but you definitely won't get the bumps.
You might try waxing, but it's not for everyone... it hurt me like hell and she said it'd last for 6-8 weeks. Well, in less than 3 days I was out of my mind it itched and hurt so bad. The waxing hurt like hell too. [ girlygirl's advice column | Ask girlygirl A Question ]
opin8ed answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 2:13 pm: here's my answer, you need to see what works for you on the shaving cream but...waxing would be your best bet now about the bumps I would suggest changing razors [ opin8ed's advice column | Ask opin8ed A Question ]
twstandshout32 answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 2:01 pm: the little red bumps are ingrown hairs..your not supposed to shave your bikini line..dont worry i made that mistake too.what you should do is wait for the hair to grow back out and most of the bumps are gone then get a hair removing lotion, i recomend nair, and follow the directions. the hair goes away and there are no little red bumps! hope i helped!
