Brittany13 answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 11:54 am: im sry but i dont know how long it takes for them to turn that color but i have had strech marks (not because i had a baby but ive "grown") anyways ive had them 4 about a year and a half and they are still justlike a pinkish redish color but if ur sister wants 2 get rid of them than she could use coco butter formula w/ vitamin E. im using that and they havent gone away yet (but they will) but they have faded. i hope i help your sister
