I weighed 110 and lost 10 pounds in a week though. It depends on how deep into the disease she is. When people start off they usually just cut down how much they eat they don't usually just start starving themselves this will affect how noticable her weight loss is to people. Because she weighted 190 it will take a little longer for people to notice her rapid loss. But eventually they will notice. I can't exactly tell you how many days it will take people to notice. It all depends no how fast she's losing the weight. If you know that she is anorexic then you need to get her some help. Anorexia is a very dangerous disease. I keep saying diseas because dispite what people think that is exactly was anorexia it's a disease and she's going to need help with curing it. You need to talk to your friend tell her how horrible what she's doing is and that you want her to get help. If she continues to starve herself she's going to get extremely sick. Because of my anorexia I ended up losing a ton of weight it got so I looked like a skeleton my clothe literally hung off of my body. It also caused me to develope anemia. I ended up in the hospital for a week and then I was put into a type of rehab that specializes in anorexia. You need to get her help before it's too late. I don't know how far into this she is but if people aren't noticing then I'm guessing she hasn't been doing it for too long. Please get your friend help before it's too late. I lost a friend to this disease and I don't want you to lose one too. You need to talk to your friend give her a chance to let you help her and if things get worse then you need to get her some proffessional help whether she wants you to or not. She may hate you for it at first but trust me when she is cured and is living a healthy life she will thank you and love you for saving her life. Karen answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 3:02 pm: Well if your friend was about 190 pounds, then it may take a while to see an actual weight loss. I can't tell you exactly when you'll notice her losing weight, since she is overweight, no offense, but time flies by fast and you will see. You'll probably see a weight loss in a few weeks but if your friend weighed less, than you'll see results in a few days. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]

shake answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 2:33 pm: Your best friend is anorexia? And anorexia has lost a lot of weight?
Well i would think anorexia would follow up with that considering people that are anorexic tend to lose weight too. [ shake's advice column | Ask shake A Question ]
SeXy101 answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 11:59 am: depends on the situation... if she was a little over weight it might take just a few days/weeks but if she was already really skinny it might take them longer [ SeXy101's advice column | Ask SeXy101 A Question ]
