girlygirl answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 3:05 pm: keep it simple... go for a walk every chance you get and whenever you sit down for one of your 3 meals a day, cut it in half! people eat way too much anyhow. no snacks in between unless it's fruit or something else good for you. if you want to lose the weight quickly you need to go hungry a little bit. LiLReBeL6907 answered Tuesday May 31 2005, 12:17 am: Okay.... DO NOT drink tons of caffiene! lol It will not help you lose weight. Too much of it is bad for you and it really has no nutrition for your body. And DO NOT stop eating. Your body needs food as energy. So when you stop eating, all the food you do eat, your body automatically stores as fat, causing weight gain, not loss. Plus not eating leads to eating disorders. So your best bet to losing weight is to increase your metabolism through exercising and eating right. I suggest you go to your doctor and ask him about healthy diet foods and metabolism pills that will speed up your metabolism so you will burn more calories. To put it bluntly, when losing weight it is a process and takes lots of time and commitment. Too rapid weight loss can leave you with loose skin, which may require surgery to remove it. So don't be tempted to lose weight too fast. And in most situations of fast weight loss, almost all have an even faster weight gain. So start eating healthier, visit your doctor regularly, find a good nutritionist in your area, and exercise. All of these are part of a good life style that will help you lose weight and continue to lose weight. Just don't give up and continue to set goals for yourself and challenge yourself along the way. I hope this helps you. ~Sherah [ LiLReBeL6907's advice column | Ask LiLReBeL6907 A Question ]
hitler_the_goat answered Monday May 30 2005, 11:29 pm: one pound is 3500 calories, just cut 500 cal0ories a day and you'll lose a pound a week. or stop eating and you'll lose 4 a week, etc.
i wouldn't recommend that kind quick-off dieting, just try to do it slowly and exercise regularly.
