Firstly, you have to realise that it will NOT be easy.

You need to be very self disciplined.

You need to change your lifestyle: changing one thing just wont cut it. You want to loose weight, and you don't want it to come back right? If that is the case, then you need to realise that there is no quick way that will loose weight, and then keep it off.

There are two things that you need to do, every single day, *without* exception.

1) be strict on your diet.
2) get in daily excercise

do one with out the other, and you'll find things soo much harder.

Strict on your diet does NOT mean that you get 0 sweets a week, and eat salad 3 meals a day. Set your self some ground rules about you diet and STICK TO THEM NO MATTER WHAT. For example: before I tried to loose weight, I would eat out 2 meals a day at cafes, restaurants, fast food etc. I'd have chocolate every day, etc. When I decided I wanted to get healthy, I said I'd only have 2 meals a WEEK out (if one of them was a salad for lunch at work, then too bad), and one chocolate thing a week (among other things). I tell you now, it was HARD. But I stuck to it. And it worked.

Excercise is sort of easier, while the weather is good! I went for a 30min walk (then run when I could) morning and evening 6 days a week.

I marked out Sunday as my reward day. I'd get to sleep in, not go for a walk, I'd also take my wife out to dinner every sudnay (as one of my 2 meals) and usually have desert (my chocolate thing). I also set up a reward system: if I stuck to my goals, then on the last day of the month I would get a 'free' meal out + dessert.

Some people might say that it might undo all the hard work, but I disagree. Loosing weight is a lifestyle change, but at the same time, you need to reward good behaviour. This might sound silly, but when you train your puppy to do tricks, you use positive reinforcment: if it does the trick you give it a treat, if not, no treat (but you dont growl at it either).

If you're diciplened enough, this will work, and you'll keep the weight off.

Well I'm a model and I'm 12 so I'm pretty used to trying to lose weight the best thing is to exerise, eat healthy, drink a lot of water and that sweet thing you've been dying for all day don't eat it think that if you don't eat it you can eat it tomorrow and lose weight then the next day all you think is well I could do it yesterday I can do it today and eat what's nessasery and once you lose weight don't go all crazy thinking you've lost it you can get back to eating a lot like mad again of course you can eat but if you go mad with it you'll pick up twice the weight same with any other diet and don't starve yourself don't take laxitives or anything like that it can really mess up your body trust me I learnt that the hard way

hope I helped x

So I lost about 50 pounds a couple years ago, and losing weight isn't as hard as people think, there is one simple key, commitment. That one cookie that won't mean anything shouldn't happen period, because it does mean a lot, it builds bad habits.

Weight loss for anyone is as simple as cutting out all the bad foods in your diet, and a sticking to lean meats(turkey, chicken, and fish too), veggies(preferably green ones), complex carbohydrates, and healthy food in general. I would suggest eating about 6 times a day, but never eating to the point when you are full, just up to the point when you are satisfied and can make it through the next few hours.

Doing all this with a little bit of exercise a day and you should be set(depending on what you want for results, this can vary from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, cardio to weight lifting, depends on your goals)

Important notes: Stay as far away from refined sugars as possible! Stay away from ALL sweeteners, specfically sweet 'n low! Stay away from diet soda(yes! It might not stop weight loss at first, but 1-2 months down the line it can slow your progress) and stay away from saturated and trans fats.

Hope this helps

i'll give you several ways and you can choose a few of them or all of them, whatever way you want.
1) exercise. if you're still going to school, make sure you actually DO SOMETHING in PE. exercising really does help. and do 10 pushups every morning and nigh EVERYDAY until you start losing weight. jog around the neighborhood, work out at country clubs, swim, do whatever it takes babe.
2) eat right. don't eat too much junk food. eat more fruits and vegetables *i'd recommend fruits because i personally hate vegatables*. eat low-fat food, if you're addicted to soft drinks, drink them diet, and cut down on snacks. definitely avoid foods such as donuts, beignets, pie, and cake. stop eating as much little by little so it doesn't feel as if you're starving yourself
3) don't loaf around all day. get up and do something (this sort of belongs under exercise). even walking around or moving is so much better than watching tv or sitting at the computer all day.
4) get an active hobby, like sports, dancing, ice-skating, rollerblading, gymnastics, etc... there's tons you can do to make yourself healthier and lose weight.
5) take vitamins. there's this type of vitamin you can take that makes you lose weight better *i forgot what it's called sorry!!!* but just like go to a drug store and ask for it.
good luck!! :)
