Ok, this boy at my school was joking around, and kept saying that I liked this boy who is kind of weird. Soo, that was a week ago, and I found out today that people believe him! I didn't think that anyone knew, but apparently, they did. I'm afraid that it will get around to the boy I supposedly like, and that he will ask me out (there were rumors that he liked me). I never know how to say no, because I am afraid that I wil hurt their feelings. I don't like this guy! please answer seriously! thanks in advance!

shawtee4life answered Tuesday May 10 2005, 9:31 pm: Well...Just tell people that you like someone else and that u dont want those rumors to get to the guy you supposedly like!!! then if the guy asks you out, you dont have to say no, you could just say "Im sorry but i like someone else" and i think he'll understand!!
Oh and you might want to make a rumor about the guy who started all of this!!! lol [ shawtee4life's advice column | Ask shawtee4life A Question ]
Avocodo answered Tuesday May 10 2005, 7:56 pm: If he askes you out say you really like him, only that you can see him more as a brother than a boyfriend. You cant be afriad if people might think he is weird, even if you think he is weird, its not right to crush his feelings. You have to be strong and choose what you think is right and wrong. The guy who was spreading the rumors seems like a jerk, and you shouldnt take that from anybody. It'll just hurt you and the guy who is "kind of weird" Good luck! eyerything will work out ok! hope i helped. [ Avocodo's advice column | Ask Avocodo A Question ]
