well aim is my life and i go on ALLLLLLLLLL the time, but lately it hasn't been allowing me to go in as my name. it allows everyones but mine-i really need help :( please help me!

Click your name in the window. Press delete. Then re-enter your name, that should work. If not im not really sure what your problem is.

Make sure you have the right password. Have them send it to your e-mail account. Also, your warning percentage might have been high the last time you signed off, and it may not be letting you on because of that.
Make a new-- temporary screen name until your old one works again.

It could possible be the server or something with the ICP address on your computer. Have you checked your modem/cable? It could be a loose wire or shortage.

someone might have changed your password. my friend and i did that to someone. you can try to recover it through email or just make a new sn. <3

Do you know anyone that would try going on your screen name. If you don't, then someone probably was because if the can't figure it out, then AIM automatically changes your password and sets that as your default. This has happened to me plenty of times and I just figured out why a few months ago. If you go to the sign on window, click on "Forgot Password" and then your password will be sent by email and then you can change your password, once you get your screen name to work.

I don't know why it wont allow you to sign on... maybe AIM has blocked you. Someone may have attempted to log on as you, but didn't get the password right. If this happened too many times, AIM gave you a default password. Click on "forgot password" and get AIM to E-mail you the password. If this still doesn't work.. try re-downloading AIM (or upgrading if you're not using the most current AIM). If this still doesn't work, create a new AIM Screen Name, and continue with your... life.
I know this is supposed to be about AIM, but maybe you should try an outdoor activity? Bike riding, horseback riding, dog walking, soccer, baseball, cheerleading, hopscotch... tons of fun things to do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not an AIM hater. I enjoy AIM sometimes, and I get on at least five times a week... but it's not my life. We have this thing called the telephone. It's a really nice thing, and you don't have to type. My arm gets really tired really easily sometimes, so I like talking on the phone. But, sometimes AIM is better. You don't show emotions as well on AIM. :D

somebody was probally trying to log in to your sn some where else but didnt get the password right. so now your password is changed. just click on forgot my password and it should e-mail you your password. xoxo!
