mutee..

Question Posted Saturday April 23 2005, 11:02 pm

so i'm selectively mute and i'm trying to be more outgoing i guess. i feel like i'm annoying my boyfriend..like i'm not a really good girlfriend or anything. i call him every other day and talk to him but not so much like everyone else. We talk on AIM and stuff but i don't know what to talk to him about. We have similar interests and stuff but it seems like i can't keep up with conversation. We haven't been going out for long but i worry a lot so yeah... i'm not all that open...and i need help on that. Can you give me ideas with conversation and ways to be more open with replies? i just don't want to say something wrong heh...

The guy is going out with you so he must think you are okay the way you are! If you feel like it is really a big problem ask him if he thinks you talk to him enough. :)

You guys can talk about your families, foods you like, if he likes sports, tv shows, ex girlfriends, school, what he likes in a girl, what he likes to do on the weekends... Just answer them like you would answer them on a sheet of paper. I know that sounds weird but you will be more honest and outgoing with your responses if you pretend that you are just writing down your replies. GOod luck!

keeping a conversation going can be hard. my advice is to just talk about random things. it doesnt matter what, nothing you say cna be wrong, it'll also help him get to kno you better. if you don't want to do that then another thing you can do is to take turn asking each others ?z. i kno it sounds stupid but i do that and it works well. you learn alot about each other and it definately gives you somehting to talk about. it cna also basically be like truth or dare...just without the dares.
hope i've helped in some way -plz rate me-

why dont you do something together then you'll have some memories to talk about. but really you could talk about anything. Dont worry about saying something wrong just be yourself(hopefully you know what "yourself" is) maybe yo ushould tell your boyfriend about your fears or what you've told me. See what he says. maybe your not annoying him at all. maybe he likes you like that. ask him and find out. there's something to talk about right there.
