i want to join cross country next year, and i was wondering... what all do you do and how far do you run?

Well u run DUHH and they make you run FARRRRRR away distance..like maybe 2-3 miles or more!!!!it is such a pain! well if u like running a lot then maybe cross country is just for you :-)

you run like 2 miles for a race, maybe 3 its not as hard as you think. i did it and it was pretty easy.

cross country is awesome!! we do about 6 or 7 on easy days(tues, thurs) and some type of workout, like 8x800s or something like that the other days of the week...and the races are 3.1 miles its tough but sooooooooo worth it!! xc kids are cool!!

Cross country is mostly running over hills. It isn't exactly like track. You don't exactly run laps. As I said, you run over hills and such. The distances usually range from 1 mile-2.5 miles. However, depending on your age level it may be more or less. I hope I helpd! &hearts; good luck

You can do upto 3-4 miles. Some people walk it or some people run. Just search its in google and see if there is an age limit.

Well, I do crosscountry... We usually run about 2-3 miles at least per day... not every day, like 3 or 4 times a week... and we jog around our school and run and we practice with hurdles but don't actually DO hurdles! It's just practice!
But my answer is definetely just run 2 to 3 miles at least... for us it's 6 tops!
