There's this guy that I like alot, but we never talk or anything at school. I', not sure if he likes me or not, but I think he might cause we always make eye contact in the halls. But anyway, my question is, I found out that he has a screenname, and my friend said I should im him, but I don't know what to say, because I never talk to him, so I don't want him to think I'm weird or something. So,how do I start out when I im him? Sorry so long! Thanks for your help! I RATE 5'S for nice advice!

Kels answered Saturday April 16 2005, 10:32 pm: send him an instant message, and say hey, and introduce yourself, and talk to him about teachers ect. and try not to talk about yourself alot. that is total turn off. check out his profile to see if he likes anyone or someone else. also, after a while, just ask who he likes, and if he says why, say just wondering! lol, Ive done that before, and its gotten me a boyfriend, who i have had for 14months and 14days as of today! and we are still going strong! :)
Teza answered Friday April 15 2005, 11:50 pm: First of all, dont be shy! Just IM him and be like hey dude!! Hows it goin!? And then at school just go up to him and give him a high five! Its flirting and a sign that you arent shy and that you like to have fun. Trust me he will like that and he defenetly wont think that you are a freak or something. x0 [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

Karen answered Friday April 15 2005, 8:04 pm: You should listen to your friend and IM this guy. To start out a conversation with him online, just say "Hey (his name here), what's up?" and then ask him how is day was and so on. A coversation will strike up, once you start talking to him. rockchik41 answered Friday April 15 2005, 7:58 pm: if you have a friend that is friends with him, tell him or her to invite the both of you into a chat, then it won't be so weird, because it won't be YOU talking exclusively to him, but you can say a few things to him, strike up a conversation. or you could even talk to him in person and do what i always do, if you see him in the halls talking to a group of people, and you know one or two of them, go over there to "talk to your friend" and then jump into the conversation if you get interested.
