sunburned

Question Posted Monday April 11 2005, 1:30 pm

last week was spring break for me, and i went to the beach. While i was there, i got sunburned. My face is peeling and all. My question is, will it be ok to get my eye brows waxed tomorrow or will it make my face peel more?

it should be okay, but to make sure, i would call the place were you are getting it done, and ask them, or when you get there, ask!
just to be on the safe side!

I don't know but it really doesn't sound like a very good idea. Sorry I couldn't help more.

no i dont think it will make it peel more, but it will hurt worse since you have sun burn.also is you do get them waxed you might have like a white line because your eye brows cover skin and your face is tan but where you eye brows are it isnt,so basicly there will be a white mark.

It might hurt a little bit since your face is burned but I dont think it will peel. You should wait a week or so until your skin cools down. x0

Yes, it will be alright to get your eyebrows waxed. It's just that it will hurt, since your skin is burned but it won't make your face peel even more.

It is okay, but it's going to hurt you really really really bad. I made that mistake. For future, always get your eyebrows waxed BEFORE you go on vacation where there is going to be a beach. Because when you wax your eyebrows after you've tanned, you'll have huge white lines above and below your eyebrow. It looks funny. I wouldn't reccomend getting your eyebrows waxed just yet. Keep them tweezed, don't wax them. Wait until the sunburn on your face goes away.
