This is probably a question that is better asked to a doctor. There are some medicines that can lower the affect of birth control pills, making you more acceptable to getting pregnant. I am not sure if penicilin is one of them though. Just give your doctor a quick call in the morning and ask him does penicilin have a negative affect on the affectiveness of your birth control pill. If it does, he should be able to give you a different prescription or a different method of birth control. If you are worried that you are pregnant, try taking a home pregnancy test or making an appointment with your doctor to take one.

You can. Probably not real likely but it is possible. Call the pharmacy or your doctors office and they will give you the info you need to be sure. They have so many home tests anymore that say they can detect it early but I have my doubts about that. Call and find out for sure. They won't charge you for it.

i doubt it.. but ask a doctor.. cause usually if they are going to give you something that messes with birth control they'd ask if you was on it first.. or it would be labeled on the medicine hun..much luv dez x0x0

antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of birth control, so there is the possibility of pregnancy. I think you are supposed to take pregnancy tests two weeks after the date of your last period, or whenever that should have been. I'm not positive on that, so you might want to check the box of whatever one you purchase, I do know that are some pregnancy tests avaliable that offer earlier detection.

The pill and penicillin are both perscription medications. You doctor would not perscricbe you with something that would interact with your other medications without some warning. Therefore, there should be no problem, unless you are taking medication without a doctors perscription.
