So, don't really know exactly what you want but I wouldn't worry about your aunt. She will survive fine.:) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]

Even if you just watch the baby for a couple hours during the day so she can get a nap in..im sure she would love it..maybe sometimes you can stay over until midnight. Any extra rest she can get would be greatly appreciated..so by just heling out a little..it would do a lot for her. [ icey0990's advice column | Ask icey0990 A Question ]
perfectmisstakesonlove answered Thursday March 31 2005, 10:38 pm: I'm not sure what youre asking...does she need help because she doesnt want to have night terrors while she and the baby are the only ones there or does she need someone to help her out and take care of the baby while ur uncle is gone? I'm going to assume shes concerned with the night terrors...so here goes: Fatigue and psychological stress plays a major role in the occurence of night terrors, so her not getting enough sleep actually adds to the recurrences. Stress also provokes incidences...if she knos exactly about what time they happen (like, one hour after she falls asleep, or two hours)...she can set her alarm for thirty min. before it usually happens, then stay awake for about five min. and then go back to sleep...this will help subdue the night terrors. i guess if shes desperate, she can just sleep for a little while, wake up, then go back to sleep again. there are also medications that can help.
