Pancakes

Question Posted Thursday March 31 2005, 3:19 pm

Kind of a dumb question but...

How do you make pancakes with a mix? Like what do you add? I lost the box and I can't remember...

Also, where can I find info about the history of pancakes? I've already googled it and asked jeeves but i can't find anything. (It's for a project)

Tres merci!

You add one cup of mix to 2/3 cup of water and mix until slightly lumpy. (I love pancakes)

here i got some directions to make pancakes

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg, slightly beaten
2 tablespoons melted butter
milk, just enough to make pourable batter
PREPARATION:

Combine dry ingredients. Stir in the beaten egg, melted butter, and enough milk for batter to pour easily. Mix lightly to blend. Cook pancakes on a hot, well greased griddle. This recipe for pancakes makes 2 to 3 servings, and can be easily doubled for a family. Sponsored Links

You need an egg and milk or water to desired consistancy.

Go to search engine WEBCRAWLER ....type in history of pancakes. It has 76 sites for you to visit. :)

Hey! Usually it's 1 or 2 eggs [really doesn't matter much lol] with a cup of milk. But, it really does depend on what brand or how big the quanitity of mix is, but there basically all the same. Some require like a third cup of oil, so if you want you can add it. For the pancake thing, check out maybe www.foodtv.com, you might find something, or you might want to try going to Barnes and Noble and looking at a little Kid's cookbook- they usually tell you how things began and stuff. Hope I've Helped! ♥

You should probably just google the brand to find directions. What kind are they?? You never know, I might have the box here at home and I could send them to you.. Anyway, try

it depends on the kind of pancakse you are making. Whatever kidn it is (bisquick, betty crocker) type that into google. then thee should be instuctions. But i'm sure you either have to add water, and then eggs and oil maybe- like i said, it depends on the kind.
For the history, this sight mite work-
