And you remember just about everything about it when you wake up. It could also be something like de'ja'vu (sp?) like a lot of my dreams are just dreams of something that could easily happen, then like a year later it does happen and I feel like I remember it happening before, though I don't think that made any sense.
A definition of vivid: Presented in clear and striking manner, Perceived or felt with the freshness of immediate experience, Active in forming lifelike images
And then a definition of dream:
A series of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep.
Siren_Cytherea answered Wednesday March 30 2005, 2:13 am: I'd think a vivid dream is a dream that feels incredibly real, like everything is graphic, distinct, clear, nothing's faded or weird. A vivid dream is probably something you remember when you wake up in the morning. You probably "feel" things in vivid dreams as well. I think a vivid dream is just what it sounds like, a vivid dream.
When I hear "vivid," I usually think of bright colors, but that's 'cause I'm into art...
I hope this helped clarify a little!
