excessive sweat glands (is that what you call it?) well, i always have these sweat circles under my arms and i have to always wear a sweater over my other shirts and here i live in Canada and its going to be spring soon and i'll need to find a way to stop sweating so much, and its not like i sweat because i'm very active or anything, i could be just doing normal day to day things like walking and i'd be sweating under the arms. i'd really like it if the people who knew what i'm going through could recommend some antipersperents that are strong and could keep the sweat away for atleast an 2 or more hours and i'd really like them to be like.. deoderant type things because i've heard of certain dri but i couldn't find it in the stores so please recommend some deoderants for me. so far i've tried lady speed stick and soft and dri but they never kept the sweat away so please help me, sorry for the length, thank you in advance.

Even though you said that you didn't find it at the store, it's located in the deoderant aisle and it comes in a white box and I found it by asking one of the salesman. If you still can't find it, I suggest that you wear men's deoderant. My friend can't even use women's deoderant because they are too weak for her. Old Spice is a great deoderant that is strong and anti-perspirant. You can also just go to the doctors and get something prescribed to you.

BeautifulMadness answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 2:46 pm: Hi,
I can't recommend any specific deodorant, because they will only work if you use them properly. You should wash under your arms, regardless of whether you have already had a shower or not, with soap and warm water (this can be done with a sponge in the bathroom if you don't wanna shower like 3 times a day) when you get up and before you go to bed.
Even if you're a guy, shave under your arms - it might seem odd but you sweat something like 4 times more if there's hair there.
Also, make sure that when you put the deodorant on, you cover the WHOLE armpit and a tiny bit of the area around it. Sprays are better for covering a bigger area but they're sometimes kinda hard to aim, lol, so you might wanna buy a spray and roll on of the same deodorant (or antiperspirant would be better)and put the roll on on as soon as you get up and have washed/showered, and then when you are dressed, spray the spray on.
You could also take body spray/aftershave to school in your bag and go fetch it in between lessons and in break and stuff (you could put it on in the toilets).
Another good idea is buying some incense and burning it in a room where your clothes are. This means your clothes will smell of the incense so it will be the strongest smell and help mask the smell of the sweat. You could also get a really nice smelling shampoo to mask the smell. Make sure that all the smells match though - get like apple incense and apple shampoo. Don't get unscented deodorant - when you sweat it'll just smell, but if you get quite strongly scented then your sweat will smell like the scent of the deodorant and helps mask it a little.
Good luck!
Blessed Be,
