is there a way to delete a aim screen name because i have so many that i cant make any new ones

You can go onto the sign in screen and then click on the drop down and highlight which ever screen name you want to delet eand press delete on the keyboard.

i dont know just geta new email address from yahoo then you can make more

You cant delete them forever but if you want to delete them so there not on your aim sign on screen do this.
1.Exit out aim
2. Go to your "Start" menu, and click "Run..."
3. In the box put "RegEdit" and press OK
4. Now you will see weird stuff but look for "HKEY_CLASSES_USER" Click that twice to open it up.
5. In that file look for something that says "Software" Click that twice to open it up.
6. Then look for something that says "America Online" click that twice. Then click AOL Instant Messenger.
7. Next you will see something that says "Current Vision" Click it twice.
8. Look for something that says "Users" and click that.
9. Now you should be able to see all the screen names, delete what you dont want in the big box (MAKE SURE YOUR SIGNED OUT OF AIM) and delete the same ones under "User"
10. X Out and wait a few minutes, then open your aim again to see them all gone!

You can't permanently delete them. If you want to delete it just so you won't see it when you sign in, highlight it and press the Delete button. You'll have to get a new email address if you want to make a new screen name. Hope I helped. If you need anything else, just send me something. ♥ Kristen

you can delete them from your computer.. but you can`t delete them permanently. you probably just have too many on one screenname. so go to www.mail.com and get a new email address and use it when you`re registering.

I do not beleive that you can delete them. They are permenantly stored on AIM. Not on your computer...If it says that you have too many SN's on one E-mail, just put another E-mail or make a Yahoo account or somthing.

go to the menu that has all of your screen names on and pick one...dont click is....just put your mouse on it so its highlighted blue. and push the delete button. say yes to the thing that pops up..sry if they are confusing!.

Yes, there is a way to delete aim screenames.
You know how when you are logging on it says "add or remmove screenames"? click there, remove the screen names you never use.
You have to be under the main username though....the one the service is paid under.....
