if 2 people who are virgins have sex, is it still possible for an std to be transmitted?

There are some wackos out there who will prick themselves and leave a bloody needle in a movie theatre seat, you sit in it, and wa-la, if they had an STD you get one. Or if you're giving head to someone and you have an open sore, and they have an STD then you can get it. Or if your parents had/have an STD then you possibly(and most likely) have one.
