Hey, I believe in God and pray to him a ot when I need help. I don't go to church though, but I still believe. Is it bad I don't go to church?? Am I gonna go to Hell????

No its alright to not go to church as long as you are a true catholic and keep praying, No you wont go to hell. People say that no matter who you are god loves you for you and is willing to forgive you if you sin and make sure your sorry for what you have done.

First of all.. Church don't mean your goin to heaven.. Who gives a **** if you go or not.. "God" Don't care if u believe and go to church.. or believe and dont go to church.. all that matters..you believe.
And I'm goin straight to hell.. I dont believe in any of the BS in the bible

no of course you wont it doesnt matter if you go to church or not as long as you pray to god at least once a week and as long as you have faith in him then its fine. dont worry about it hun your goin to heaven!

No! It doesn't matter where you pray. You still have faith and believe in God. And He loves you for that. God loves everyone.

No, you wont go to hell if you dont go to church. It says in the bible that we should fellowship with other believers but you dont have to. But I think it would be a good idea to go ot a church so they can help you/teach you on how to become a stronger believer in God and how to start a relationship with him.

if you believe in god, its okay not to go to church. i mean some people go like 3 times a week and it doesnt make a difference becuase some very believing holy ppl dont go to church.

Nope, you won't go to Hell if you don't go to church. As you long as you believe in God, then he will understand. Going to church is just a way to learn more about your religion, that's all.

You should pray to God not only when you need help but all the time. Just to say thank you, or anything else. God should be your friend not your helper when your in trouble. You should go to church because it helps you learn in the services god's plan for us and what he has done and what he is going to do in the future. You should go to church to grow in your faith with god. God wants us to go to church to be closer with him. Just trust in god as your lord and savior and believing in him isn't enough because guess what? The devil believes in him also. Have him as your savior and you won't go to hell. Not going to church won't get you into hell.

Oh gosh! I could write so much on this topic it isnt even funny. For starters, I know exactly how you feel. I dont go to church either, but my boyfriend is a big church goer, and so are my cousins. You shouldnt feel pressured into going to church just because you think someone will think bad of you. I believe in God, and do right and thats they way to live your life. I have always been taught to do the right things, and only good will come to you. I dont have to sit on a church pugh every Sunday to show my love to God. A lot of people out there who go to church are just hypocrits. They can go to church on sunday and do horrible things through the week. They can also make you feel like shit for not going. Who cares? I have been to plenty of churches in my life, and I am a good person. Just do right and believe the way you want to and only great things will come to you. God wont let anything bad happen to a beautiful soul. im me to talk! Emerleeann42

I'm in the same boat as you are. I believe in God but I don't go to church. You don't have to go to church to believe in God. And you won't go to hell. =) You can worship God any where, not just at church, but at home.

no your not going to go to hell. i dont go to church very often. i usually only go around the holidays. like christmas mass and easter mass palm sunday and ash wednesday. you get what i mean. but anyway, i am a strong believer in god. i pray to him when i need help too. Going to church would be a good idea though.
