I've been going through the same thing.
You should find a topic that are you very interested in, and start reading up on that. Poke around the library and find books that hold your interest so much that you literally cannot wait until you get home to read them. I suggest that if your problem is that bad, maybe you should even consider books that are below your reading level at first, just to kinda slowly bring you back in.

Find a really good series which really depends on your interests...I personally loved every single one of the Harry Potter books and have recently read the Gossip Girl series which was excellent..so my interests range, and it all depends on you

I feel the same way. BAck in middle school i would always be reading. With all the work and pressure going on in 10th grade..i find it very hard to read also. I would suggest watching a movie based on a true story..then try and find the book. You'll be a lot more into the book..which will make it easier for you. Once you start to drift..put the book down for later. Even if you only read 5 pages..its ok. So try that and i think you'll be back to reading in no time. Happy reading to you!

Find some to read that catches your interest. One day, I'll be reading Othello, the next, I'll read about Bonnie and Clyde. Don't try and stick to one genre, that may be the problem. ANd if your mind wanders, thats alright, that happens to the best of us, don't force yourself to read, do it when you're comfortable.

Try reading a book on a topic you are really interested in... Search Amazon.com, I found some of my favorite books that way.

To get your interest of reading books back, you just need to pick out your favorite book from the library and read it there or read it at a quiet place. This will help and once you get used to reading, your interest will come back. Start reading books from your favorite author.

Oh I love reading. Um, well just go somewhere queit where no one will bother you. Lock the door, even put relaxing music to get you in the mood. I put rock music though, still works the same for me. haha. Good luck!
