umm well compared to the person who already answered this i feel dumb. when i hear prep i think of cheerleading where we stunt or put girls up in the air at a low level height. but correction to what i saw down there a prep as in a person does not neccisarilly speak that way or wear alot of makeup. prep is more of a type of style...

from my recent experiences, a "prep" is someone who is very perky, annoying, wears a lot of pink/bright colours, does their nails with those french tips, wears short skirts/skinny jeans, a lot of makeup, says "like" at least 5 times in a sentence, and is just obnoxious in every way possible. but thats just how they are in my recent encounters. they aren't obnoxious to everyone, thats only my opinion. :) hope i helped.

A prep is someone with a lot of energy, and a lot of them wear pink a lot and giggle and jump around and sh.. i mean stuff like that.. They also shop at stores like Abercrombie&Fitch and Hollister. But that's just the stereotype.
In reality, "preps" are people who just like to laugh and have fun and people hate them for it.
