don't know what to do

Question Posted Sunday March 20 2005, 4:09 pm

ok so last night i was supposed to go to the movies with my friends. well i found out i couldn't because i had to go to my grandma's 60th birthday. well my best friend said she didn't want to go to the movies. so i asked her if she wanted to come over and she said yea. so i get home and it turns out i have to stay home and watch my little brother. so i'm like yes now i have a better chance for margot to spend the night! so i ask my mom and she keep's sayin i don't know n that she'll call me. so at like 7 i call her for the last time and i ask, i'm not worried that margot won't be home because she didn't want to go to the movies. so my mom says yes and i call margot's house, but her mom says she's at the movies. so i'm kinda mad and i call her cell and say hey you can come over after the movies if you want to and she says ok i'll call you. well she calls at 10:30 and says that her mom said no because it's too late. and i'm like ok. and she says are you mad? and i say no, but inside i'm freakin pissed! what should i do? sorry it's so long.

Id be mad at her for saying she didnt want to go and then going and totally leaving you alone without ringing you to tell you that she had gone to the cinema. Tell her that you was going to invite her over and that your just a bit upset that she didnt tell you straight away that she was going to the cinema.

luv roxie

I would tell her how you feel. Be like "hey remember when you asked if I was mad? Well, honestly, I was". To me it's not right. I mean, if she decided to go to the movies, she could've called you. Maybe you could ask why she didn't call you telling you her plans to going to the movies were back on. I would forgive her though, everyone makes mistakes.. And if you think about it, at least she eventually called... better late then never.. right?

Hope I helped!

Ok well one she lied because she said she didn't want to go to the movies and then she ended up going and not letting you know after she already said she would come over to your house. I could understand how you would be mad about that.Just tell her you didnt appreciate her blowing you off like that because if she would have stayed home like she said she would the whole situation would have been avioded.
