Okay. Hun. DO. NOT. USE. NAIR. ...ow. Nair already sucks bad enough balls for legs. ANYWAY. Use conditioner and a lot of lotion when you are done. Don't shave fast...because that WILL leave you with razorburn and make it itch and all that jazz. So take it a bit slow if you know what I mean. :D

Use an electric razor because that doesnt prevent razor burn and it prevemts you from gettin cut and that sucks

Its okay to still shave down there weather you are sexually active or not.. if your comfortable with yourself like that then do it.. um i wouldnt be nervous hun its really no big its as easy as shaving anything else.. um yea it does itch when it grows back but after i started doing to for a while it actually stopped itching or maybe i got use to it..*i dont know* but um i wouldnt use nair ir probably would irritate your skin down there and burn.. um you can use shving cream and use a good razor and wash with warm water.. um also if afterwards put baby oil or some kind of lotion on it.. and if you have problems with shaving cream i would use conditionor.. it keeps it real soft and helps more with razor burn.. also when you shave..shave downwards first and get the hair all off then shave upwards it helps it not be so stubbly.. much luv dez x0x0

Deanimal answered Saturday March 19 2005, 3:33 pm:
Shaving your pubes is a very personal matter, and if you want to, go for it, sexually active or not. It doesn't itch too badly growing back.

They make a special nair for bikini lines, you might want to try it, the complex curvature of genitals makes it hard to shave.

If you *do* shave, use shaving cream, yes, that will help prevent razor burn.

::edit::
Oh, I forgot. If your hair down there is long, TRIM IT FIRST. It's quite hard to shave long hair.

It doesn't matter wether or not you are sexually active. if you feel more comfortable with yourself that way then go for it. It may itch if you dont shave it well enough or enough. it may grow back quick. im not so sure wether or not you should use shaving cream. But wen you get older you can avoid this problem by getting a Brazillian Bikini Wax, sure it hurts but if its what you want who has the right to stop you?

You can use shaving cream or soap make sure you use walm water use alot of soap or shaving cream some times you cant avoid razorburn. shave down! dont shave up because it will probely rip some of your skin! you can still shave even if you are sexually active that has nothing to do with it.

Being sexually active has nothing to do with it.
You can shave if you want, yes it can itch like you would not believe!
Use a new razor every time and Lots of shaving cream, get a girlie kind with lotion. That should take care of razor burn.Don't know about nair. Go slow and be careful, a cut there will really hurt.

well you don't even need to shave there! Unless for religous or medical reasons! I've heard it DOES itch a lot when it grows back so you might want to think about that before you shave there. Since that is a tender spot you could cut your self easily so watchout!

pimpettex answered Friday March 18 2005, 7:52 pm:
Belive me - Practice makes perfect. Especially when you shave down there. You need to know whats right for you. Everyones diffrent. But anyways, this is what I do. Its always better when you have a new razor because there's less chance of cutting yourself. I use warm water and i put contditioner down there - it makes the hair really soft and easy to shave off. I go against the grain (move the razor in the opposite direction that your hair grows) so everything gets nice and smooth. I shave sitting down, kind of in indian style but with my legs spread farther apart. This is just what works for me. Everyones diffrent, but maybe if you give this a try you can change a few things around to whatevers most comfortable for you. And believe me hun, dont do anything you're not comfortable with. And yes, the first few times it is really really itchy growing back but then you get used to it and its not itchy anymore.

I really don't recommend it, hun. Hair down there isn't seen by anyone else os it?? Nobody is gonna ask you if you have it or wanna see it. It's natural and I don't think you should.

If you really want to though, YES it itches like a mofo. I don't think you can prevent razor burn, but you might be able to put lotion on. Hope I helped.

xXxpinky615xXx answered Friday March 18 2005, 6:35 pm:
You can shave down there if you're sexually active or not. When you start seeing a gynocologist, they would prefer that you didn't shave down there because the whole point of pubic hairs is to prevent anything getting into your vagina that shouldn't be there ie: bacteria. To answer the very first question- Yes- It does itch growing back and it itches horribly (at least it did for me) If you're going to shave down there- I would use conditioner (I'm serious) instead of shaving cream or anything like that. When you do shave it for the first time it might hurt down there because there is still a little bit of stubble. You should put lotion on there to prevent razor burn. When you use a brand new razor that's when you're most likely to get razor burn down there so try to use one you've used a few times before then. I wouldn't shave it again until 3-4 days after you already did because it's going to hurt really bad. Nair honestly is a piece of shit. It doesn't work on your legs or anything. So putting it there isn't good at all. If you want to be completely hairless down there- go to a professional and get it waxed. Yes, it is a bit awkward having someone ripping your pubes off. If you need anything else- feel free to ask me anything else.
