k, i recently had sex with my ex bf.. and it was for 2 mins and nothing happened. i haven't gotten my period yet - it was suppsoed to come on tuesday, but i haven't gotten it yet. although, i have been very stressed lately (breakup with my boyfriend, dad lost a job, friend almost commited suicide, etc) and i am also very underweight for being my height. could those be reasons for missing my period or could i be pg? please write back!

I wouldn't get overly worried just yet. You aren't real late. Are you usually right on time?
Anyway, stress can certainly make you late, and so could any of the other things you mention. So don't get worried yet. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
lovebug26 answered Thursday March 17 2005, 8:32 pm: I highly doubt you are pregnant. This happens to a lot of girls. After having sex and before you get your period there is that stess period. Honeslty the more stressed out you are the longer your period is going to take to come. If you are really concerned I would take a pregnancy test and if its negatvie (which it will be) then you will calm down a little more and your period will finally come. About being under weight...as long as you have gotten your period reguraly and don't have an eating disorder or a record f irregular periods, then the reason its taking so long is because of stress...don't worry your fine!!
let me know what you do and when you get your period! [ lovebug26's advice column | Ask lovebug26 A Question ]
MummuM answered Thursday March 17 2005, 6:47 pm: Just calm down a bit. There's always a possibly that you could be pregnant; 50/50 chance. But a lot of girls have periods that come and go on different days. The days never stay the same and you could be one of them girls. Your period could not be coming because you're very stressed. That's also a possibly. If a week later you still don't get your period, I'd suggest you go buy a test. That way you'll know for sure, if you are pregnant or not. But for not, just try to calm down a bit. It could always be a false alarm and a lot of girls get them.

lostinside answered Thursday March 17 2005, 6:04 pm: You never know. I would take a pregnancy test just incase. But being underweight can affect your period. If could just be late this month too. But you should definately take a pregnancy test..

redxroses answered Thursday March 17 2005, 5:48 pm: I've heard that people who are underweight can have a strange period, hardly any blood at all, but I'm not sure itf it's true. You might be pregnant because as we have all learned from television, there is always a chance of it happening. Maybe you should see a doctor. [ redxroses's advice column | Ask redxroses A Question ]
