I am completely lost and don't know what to do!
I am 16 and in high school. I like this guy who is a year older than me. I really like him and for awhile he led me to believe he liked me too. My school ring dance is coming up and I asked him to go with me. He said that he had to probably work so I said ok. Monday night I went out with him and two other guys to Hooters. (lol)I rode with his best friend and I asked him what was up with him. He told me that Chris (changed his name)was just Chris and he didn't know what to tell me. I try not to bother Chris to much so it doesn't look like I'm desperate or anything, but I really like him. His friend told me that he's "talking" to another girl at his school (we go to different schools). I didn't know if I should believe him but the whole time we were at Hooters Chris acted like I wasn't there and completely ignored me. I am out of ideas on what to do. If he hasn't figured out I like him by now then I don't know what to do. Can anybody tell me what to do? I know most people are gonna say get over him but I really like him and I have tried to get over him...please tell me what to do.

Just tell him you like him and just hope for the best. Ask him who he likes first, then if he really likes someone don't tell him but if he doesn't like anyone tell him that you like him.

i've been in the same position where i liked a guy and he ignored me. but it seems like your friend is afraid of commitment to you. and you have to talk to him about it. im sure he'll listen if you say the right thing.

Well i think you should just tell him how you feel, even though he might have an idea you like he'll probably like to hear it from you personally and not other people or his friends. hope i helped. xo-ashley

well you may have run out of ideas but you could always have come up with this simple solution.....tell him you like him alot maybe then he'll understand!

sounds like this is playing you....maybe not but idk think yourself who do you trust morehis friend or him.......if its his friend then it may be that the guy "chris" is just playing...but if you believe him then go for it see if you wants to go out before you ask him to the dance.............that what i would do!!!
