Hey I just have a little question, everytime I am in the shower after I wash my hair and rinse it out and even when I rinse the conditioner out a lot of my hair just comes right out! Like not in huge chunks but in like a lot of strands and stuff! Is there any reason that this is happening? If anyone knows could you please help me? It usually only happens in the shower, not when it is dry!
It could also be due to stress, like others said, or an iron deficency. Try eating more greens (spinach in particular) and meat or taking an iron supplement. [ Notso's advice column | Ask Notso A Question ]

It's normal and it happens to me but I straighten my hair everyday so my hair is damaaged. If you always put your hair up in a bun, your hair elastic pulls on your hair and causes this to happen to you. Puberty also plays a role in this. Don't worry, this will stop.

About a hundred hairs fall from your head throughout the day and if you have it up, it doesn't have anywhere to fall. So if you're wearing your hair up alot, that's the problem. You shouldn't worry about it tho. If it doesn't fall out in chunks it's normal. [ FReNCH_i3aRBiE's advice column | Ask FReNCH_i3aRBiE A Question ]
BlackRose18 answered Tuesday March 1 2005, 7:26 pm: Its probably because your moving your hair alot
And pulling out random strands -- its normal to lose 100 strands a day..yea alot i know but thats what the hair dresser told my sister when she thought she was losing her hair
Sherry answered Tuesday March 1 2005, 7:22 pm: Okay well when your going through puberty thats what happens, that happeend to me a lot too like a long time ago and then it stopped. Or maybe your hair is just not healthy? Go to a salon and ask them if there is any product you can leave in your hair to fix it! [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
