Make an outline, it highlights the important thing that you want to know, and its easier to read, and it generally works. Don't try to cram all in one night either, it overloads your brain. Good Luck.

read it out loud, a lot, then try reciting it without the paper, over and over and over again

What I usually do is I take a paragraph or a little part of it at a time and read it say, 5 times. Then I see how much of it I can say without looking at the paper. Then keep repeating this and you will memorize it.

Ok, read one sentence, then memorize it. Then repeat it to yourself. Then learn the next sentence and memorize it. Then repeat it from the beguining. So you gradually add on one sentence at a time. Like if the phrase was. "the cat was fat. then a dog walked by. Then the dog sat on the mat with the fat cat. Then the story ends. The End" Read the first line, which is "The cat is fat." so memorize that, then repeat it to yourself. then memorize the second line. "then a dog walked by." then, instead of jus repeating that sentence again. repeat the whole thing. say "the cat is fat. then the dog walked by." like that. it may sound confusing but once you understand it it's a piece of cake. it really helps me when i have to memorize stuff. so good luck! i hope you do well!
Always,
Carly

To memorize this page, you need to start off by memorizing a few parts and then moving on, remembering another part and put both parts together and so on. Just go over it and over it and make it into a song, just like the other columnist below me mentioned. Those two ways do work.
