there's this girl....i just know we would be really good friends because she kind of acts like me...i really want to be her friend, but i don't know how without being odd. The most we talked was yesterday, but that wasn't for too long...any advice is appreciated!!!

If you want to be her friend, you need to start talking to her more often. When you see her at school, walk up to her and start up a conversation with her. Get to know her better. If you have her email address or her screen name, talk to her online. Talking to someone a lot will start a friendship. It won't be odd if you talk to her. She probably would want to be your friend too.

Just talk to her a lot. Try to start converstations with her. If you see her in the hallways ask her how she is. Talk to her on the computer or the phone, etc. Being super nice and a great friend will build up the friendship you have now. You could also ask her if she would like to hangout sometime.
