Massive Question

Question Posted Tuesday February 22 2005, 7:11 pm

For me, high school relationships are about gaining experience and finding what you want in a relationship. But, what happens when you find exactly what you want your first try? And, do we ever really get over anything?

My mom and dad were 1st true loves. They were together for 25 years unfortunatly due to work reasons they seperated but they still love each. I've never got over my first love i dont think you ever forget your 1st but my advice is live life 1st. The more i think about me and my 1st love the more i go out enjoying myself because i know if i'd settled down that early i would have missed out.

well, i guess it is possible to find 'the one' straight away. but i don think it happens often. i would hate to have found the one when i was young coz then you miss out on all the fun of meeting new guys!!! and some things you dont get over...
time heals all wounds but always leaves a scar.
remember that.

Hmmm tough question, I get what your saying hwne your say highschool relationships give you more experience. I dont think it makes a difference whether it takes your first date or your zillionth. I think it's just how ya feel with the guy or girl... BUT, ya i remember when i was with this kid, and me and him were together, man I thought he was the one! So when he dumped me unfortunately I cried and cried my self to sleep, but of course eventually you'll get over it, but you won't all forget. Hopefully you fine the right one. And I like your question! lol Hope you likes my advice.

crazy, first relationship i've been in since highschool has lasted for over a year and i was a freshman and my bf was a junior. and we know that were going to be together for a VERY long time but he keeps telling me that i should just break up with him and see other people because he was the first serious relationship ive ever had and he thinks its a bad thing. i'm not sure what happens after your frist try, but i know that you dont get over anything when its your first time and you really liked someone in your relationship. xox
