I would say that you need to have a talk with the principal and you teacher at the same time. Go over the situation and say what it was that upset you. Your teacher should admit that he was at fault, and if he wont, you will need to discuss it with the principal one on one. If your principal is a fair person, he/she will hear you out and talk to your teacher for you.

Hmm, I must have missed the question, but I suppose I should try some advice.

Firstly, I think you should probably tell the "principle" that your "teachers" lying, and that its really not something you would make up just out of spite. That is assuming that you've not had any sort of record in that class as being a troublemaker, which would more or less place the heavy burden of reasonable doubt on your teacher. Also, I suppose that you should reason out what disciplinary action you plan for your "principle" to take. It may not be a serious offense unless your teacher knew full well of your arachnaphobia; but, if he did know, then that would explain him "caliin" you a liar. No matter what, I don't think the teacher would be canned simply for that sort of thing, even if he did know of your hatred of spiders(especially dead ones...Ergh).

Well, I guess I hope I've answered your uh...question.
