Well, sometimes its hard to tell whether youre trying too hard or not trying hard enough. Thats why im glad you asked this and this question is worthy of being answered lol. Anyway, if you're trying too hard other people tend to notice. If you're getting into arguments or catfights with other people who have a crush on your crush, thats trying too hard. If you flirt with him CONSTANTLY and ask him out at least twice every 2 weeks, thats trying too hard. If you're really shy around this guy and you dont talk to him at all, then thats not trying hard enough. I mean, the guy's gotta at least know your name, right? And if you ask him out and he says no, thats a sign to give up. I mean, if he says "No," Then no means no, right? I mean, that means he doesnt like you. And if you ask him out once or twice and he says he'll think about it and a couple months go by without him telling you, then you should give up. I mean, girls arent freaks that wait around for something to happen. I mean, we can wait, but we cant wait around FOREVER. If that guy doesnt work out, try looking around for another guy whos sweet and is worthy of having you. Tell me how it works out and if you need anything, I'm here for you.

When it comes to trying to get a guy, you know when you are trying to hard when you actually know you are by catching yourself always trying to be around him and actually stalking him and knowing where he is all the time. You know when you aren't trying hard enough when you don't talk to him or do anything that will make it seem that you are trying to get him. You should give up when you know that you will never get him. Hope I helped :)

If the guy is someone you know is respectful, nice, and not the popular guy everyone mainly wants, hes probably worth it, and what I mean by popular is hes not a jerk that just dates lots of girls and dumps them. You know when you're trying too hard when you keep trying to talk to the guy and he keeps ignoring you, or won't talk to you when you talk to him, or makes fun of you in any way and you keep going. You know when you're not trying hard enough when you just watch him all the time and don't try talking to him, or have your friends talk to him about you. And you should give up if that guy just doesn't seem interested after a while of buging at him.

You should give up if he dont pay any attention to you or shows that he's not interested in you.. and your tryin to hard if you begin to get on thier nerves..jus dont try to hard for any guy cause then apparently they wasnt worth your time..much luv dez

You know you're trying to hard when you repeatidly call him,follow him around and get really annoying with questions lol.You should give up if you've let him know you like him and he shows no interest.It saves the heartache.

dont get all obsessed or anything. Flirt with him and see if he flirsts back. Or just ask him out. If he says no or doesnt seem interested when you flirt of flirt back then try wit sum1 else. hope it helped

trying too hard is when you're basically stalking the guy. Not hard enough is when you don't talk to him and don't even try to be their friend. Never give up. Guys like determination if used correctly. Hope i helpeD!
