im trying to lose wieght by not eating after 730ish because i heard that this would work. Does this really work? and even if it does, how long will i see results. one more thing, i eat kinda lot when i get home from school so is there an effect?

Eating after school doesnt have a big effect on anything. If you want to lose weight you should also try to go for a walk everyday.. or work out at home.
CraziForRey619 answered Thursday February 17 2005, 5:17 pm: It does work normally if you don't eat 2-3 hours before your bed time (whenever that is). It depends on how hard you work at it, but some people take a week to see results, others, maybe 3 weeks. You shouldn't really "starve" yourself because after that you get really hungry and can't help but keep eating. Just try to eat a big breakfast, a good lunch and dinner. Meee999 answered Thursday February 17 2005, 11:03 am: Yeah, not eating in the 2 hours before you go to bed is a good idea, because it gives your food time to digest in your system and doesnt just lay there and you gain the fat from it. Try eating in smaller proportions. Don't eat alot repeatedly, try eating healthier things also. Like when u get home from school, grab an orange or an appleor something you like, instead of fatty sugary foods. Hope this helped.
luckycharm answered Wednesday February 16 2005, 10:12 pm: it does work, because your body can digest... for your day, your meals should go in order of largest to smallest (breakfast-largest...) when you get home from school, eat something healthy... like get lowfat stuff or whatever... ( i cant taste the difference lol) and just eat healthier... you can also workout... like run after school or something... hoep i helped!

Karen answered Wednesday February 16 2005, 9:23 pm: Well the real time is not to eat after 6:00 and yes, this does work because your body will work and burn faster when you sleep so you will lose weight. You want see results for a while, since your body needs to adjust to this. Eating when you get home really doesn't have an effect on this but since you kind of eat a lot, it may a little bit. Just start eating healthier and drink more water. Hope I helped :)
