i peirce my ears all the time! it's not that hard actually, the only hard part is getting over the fear of doing it! it actually hurts less than getting it perfessionally done, because they usually peirce your ear with a peircing gun. using a needle or earing helps air go through your peirced hole making it hurt less. well, you have to mark a dot where you want to peirce with a marker. make sure the needle/earing is clean, you can clean it with hydrogen peroxide which i do, or put it under STEAM water. to make peircing your ears hurt less, put ice over it for a minute or longer to make it go numb and then go for it. after, put more hydrogen peroxide and turn the earing/needle even if it hurts. let it breath for a few minutes then you can put the end of the earing on. make sure to clean it often!

well i pierced my ears myself..um my first step was to get a marker and mark where i wanted the hole at and made em even so it would look right.. anyways after that take ice and numb your ear.. now when you pierce it ima be truthful to ya you will probably still most likely feel it butit wont hurt promise.. anyways make sure you pierce it where you put the mark at... also if you dont wanna do that you can get a kit like at walmart and it some with like a little gun thing and ear rings and you can do it your self..much luv dez

I would not do it by yourself. You could mess it up so much. But...if you want to, then fine. Just ice your ear (alot), draw a dot where you want it to go, and jus stab a needle through.

an industrial is not a piercing you want to do yourself. Even when it is done professionally there is a chance of keloids, your ear collapsing, and it being pierced too shallow, causing pain and it to grow out.

Bmezine.com is a great site for any questions you might have about piercings. It has pictures and stories from people who have had whatever type of piercing you are looking at done.

Oh...eew...don't do it yourself!! I know being talked out of doing this isn't the answer that you wanted, but you HAVE to get it done professionally!! My friend used an ice cube to numb her ear and even sterilised the pin she used but got SUCH a bad infection!! Her ears went all gungy where the whole was, and kept bleeding, and she can never wear earrings again...so, if you wanna get an industrial, get the other piercings done professionally or you'll never be able to wear the industrial!!
And, if your other piercings DO interfere with the industrial, you can always take them out. You don't know until you try :)
But please get your ears done professionally!! If you pierce in JUST the wrong place, you could bleed for AGES! My ear slit and ripped a little, and it bled for so long...you wouldn't think they do, but honestly, they bleed so damn much of you slit/pierce in the wrong place!!

Here2HelpU is right! You hit the wrong nerve and you could be in serious trouble!!
Not only that but if you do it yourelf you run the risk of doing it wrong and could end up with wonky peircings - think how bad that would look.
To top it all of, if you do it youself then chances are it will get infected - green pus oozing from your ear is NOT a turn on!!
I'm all for piercing, I have several myself, all of which were done by a professional which is what I advise you to do - go see a professional!!

well ill tell you right now i know nothing really about how to pierce things myself... but i do know it is not good to pierce things yourself.... your earlobes is alright yourself as long as it doesnt get infected but other places if you hit a wrong nerve you can paralyze parts of your body so BE CAREFUL

well my opinion is to just get it professionally done. there are too many risks doing it yourself. it could get really badly infected and you wouldn't be able t ever get it peirced again!
