the best medicine for acne they can pesrscibe is birth control..as amusing as that sounds..it clear up acne and any undisired facial hair..i hope i helped ]
When you go to the dermotologist they look at your face and maybe feel it and will take pictures, and then they will give you prescriptions, and you go like every month so they can keep up with how your face is doing, so they know if you need different prescriptions. I must say, I went on Accutane(only for really bad cases), and it DOES REALLY WORK! But everything you go on takes about five months to actually clear your entire face.

yep i went to a dermatologist about 3 months ago and my acnes almost gone. they put me on this face wash that i use 2 times a day and this thing called differin. it really works but the first time you use it will make your face pill i hated that but i stuck to it and my face is almost clear. my second visit to the dermitoligist they poped most of my acne off but it left red spots all over my face, but i didn't care aafterwards because my face was clear. hope i helped

The doctor will look at your skin and tell you what all your options are.He will probably give you a lotion or cleanser to use,or if your acne is severe he may suggest using a laser to diminish some of the acne.

I think that you should just ask him because you need to keep you face clean. They will give you some kind of treatment, but i resantly heard about this product that is called proactive and it works really good because it clears away the acne without drying your skin. You should ask the dermatologist about the product and how you can get it.

They can definately help clear your skin up! they will put you on some sort of pill or lotion that will definately help your skin... it just depends on different things what you'll get... like kind of acne.. lol w stuff like that. whatever is best for your skin. theres nothing you really have to know.... i'm sure you know everything they'll ask you... the derma. will take care of that! good luck! going to see the derma. you will definately be glad that you did... it totally helps! hope i helped!

a friend of mine was given pills by a doctor and they worked for her. but he (the doctor) said that it doesn't work for every body. so he may give you pills or lotion. depending on the circumstances.

they will check your face, see how bad it is then tell you what you can do.
some will put you on a pill, others will give you a face treatmeant that you will have to use for a certain amount of time. ]
Yeah they will put you on some pills or lotion but dude take the lotion, cause alot of the pills have really bad side affects. ]
thats usually what they do, if not, scalding usually helps to clean the pores

If you have really bad acne, then yes, they can put you on a pill or will prescribe you some lotions or face washes. Most of the pills work for some people and some of them don't and everyone has different side effects to each. When you go, they basically just check your acne, talk to you, and then they will decide what they can put you on. I have gone to a dermatologist, and the doctor just did what I explained and now I'm on Differin. Hope I helped :)

Well, there isn't really any pill for acne. There is one, but it has horrible side effects of severe depression so nearly all doctors try not to prescribe it unless the acne is incredibly severe. You go, they just look at your face for a while, no procedures done or popping of anything, then they'll give you some over the counter medicine or a prescription for some sort of facial cream. ]
