It wasn't hard. To prepare for the test, read over your manual like 3 times, and go to Google, and search for your state and a practice driving test. www.safetyfirstdrivingschool.com has one for new jersey.

well coming from me... i failed it twice... but i never paid attention in those drivers classes... if you really read the question...and look at all of the possible answers... think about it (theres not time limit!) you'll do fine... i live in mn and i'm guessing it might vary from state to state... but not by much! its embarresing to admit i failed it... because the questions were just common knowledge... stuff you pick up from just driving in the car with your parents... like... four way stops, bus situation... railroads.. pretty much common sense! you've read the book... so i know you'll do fIne! and not 2 be a pessimist... but if for some reason you fail it... go back the next day and take it... where i live... the questions are all exactly the same the next day! GOOD LUCK! hope i helped ya!

well, none of us can really help you, because the rules/tests are different in each state.

The test isn't too bad actually. First they give you a vision test, where you have to look at things and tell the guy what they are. They do this to see if you need glasses to drive or not. Then you'll have to do a written test that includes, the signs and questions. The signs are easy, you just have to match the meaning to the correct sign. The questions are simple as well. If you read the book, you'll do great. Make sure you know all the distances. Example: How far you have to be away from a car, when do you have to turn your bights on/off, when do you put your blinker on, etc. Also keep in mind, how many drinks you can have to drive, how many days you have to wait before you can come back to the do test again (if you fail), how old you have to be to start paying your fines if your not wearing a seatbelt. It's only 20 questions, so I'm sure you're going to do awesome on it. Good luck and I hope you ace it!
