xOCarrie answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 10:48 pm: diet pills are usually doctor prescribed, well the working ones anyways. the ones you purchase at the store are just supplements, they can work but only if you eat properlly along with it and excercise. it gives you just a little boost. sarah0308 answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 9:43 pm: no, i dont think they will be good for you.i would just stick to a diet and exercise a lot. and, if a diet pill gave you quick results, it could be damaging your body.

SquirrelLord answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 8:37 pm: Only one way 2 find out. You should take a couple of bottles at once and see what happens. No, I'm kidding. From what I've heard, you'd be better off excercising. [ SquirrelLord's advice column | Ask SquirrelLord A Question ]
LiLbAbE answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 7:11 pm: ABSOULTY NOT! You dont need diet pills! All you have to do is eat healthy and work out everyday. Maybe you could join a gym. It wont work like in 2 weeks.. You have to have a plan and stick to it.

The only safe way to lose wieght is to eat healthy and excercise. [ Pyroteqnic21's advice column | Ask Pyroteqnic21 A Question ]

PinkBarbie answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 6:10 pm: I have been thinking about diet pills myself. if you are 16 they can be dangerouse to your health and growth. if you decide to go get them, make sure you check on the lable of the pills and see how old you have to be most of them say 18. also talk to your family doctor about it. also check the warning lables and make sure one of the cautions is not weight gain! stupid eh? hehe!

Karen answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 6:05 pm: Nope, diet pills aren't safe, especially for a 16 year old. They only work for some people and most of the time, you don't see quick results if you have any health problems (that's what my mom said, since she tried diet pills). Hope I helped :)

Mandee answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 6:01 pm: No diet pill is proven to be safe, regardless of what you hear or see on tv. Diet pills reduce your appetite, but your normal appetite will return in a couple weeks. Diet pills may work quickly depending on your body type and if you'r eating right and exercising with it. Keep in mind, some pills will nto even work. I don't recommend you taking them because of experinces or events that I saw. Your body is still growing, therefore taking pills which contain all of these elements of which you don't even know may cause some serious side affects. But this is totally up to you. If you're worried, I suggest you loose weight the natural way. It does work. Think about it, before you consider it, hun! Need anything else? Don't hesitate to ask.
TrUtH_hUrTs_1 answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 5:54 pm: yes, but you shouldnt overdose, and it is very easy to, so you need to talk to your doctor before you even buy the stuff.
ShameLess523 answered Wednesday February 9 2005, 5:53 pm: My parents have always said that diet pills dont work and the arent good for your body. I wouldn't take them if I were you.
