Re-Test!

Question Posted Sunday February 6 2005, 8:26 pm

Okay I failed a test in school with a 65, and to raise the grade, the teacher said we could take a retest. Problem is, we have to show a note to our parents saying we failed, and have them sign it. The re-test is tomorrow, and I still haven't showed my parents the note. WHAT do I do? Because..my parents kill me if I even get an 85. Help me. :(

I ahve the exact same parents lol, so what i would do, adn i know this prolly isnt what you want to hear, but you need to tell your coolest parent and have them sign it and tell them that you will study so hard and try your hardest to get a better grade and that it will never happen again. If they ground you, feel good knowing that you probably would have been in more trouble lying and forging than coming out with the truth.

Tell your parents first thing in the morning! If your parents get mad when you make an 85, then you're obviously an exceptional student. Therefore, if you made a 65, your parents will probably think that you have a bad teacher, you simply misunderstood what the test would be over, etc.

I would go with the "I studied the wrong chapters" lie; because everybody has done this (for real) before.

Show them the note. It's better than keeping the 65 as your grade. Tell them that if you take the retest then it will erase the 65, and that you'll try your hardest to get an A

you can choose one of two options:
choice number 1: have your parents sign the note. -- tell them that the test was way harder than you thought it was, but you are getting a second chance to take it and pick up your grade. tell them you have prepared yourslef more for the test this time around.

or
choice number 2: sign it yourself. -- find an old piece of paper with the signature of one of your parents and practice writing it. if you cant seem to get it to look like theres, then you could try and get someone who is really good at forging a signature to sign it for you. or also if you cant get it to look right, get a pencil and on the back of the paper(where the signature is) and shade that area in. turn it over to the front(so you see the signature) and place it somewhere on the note that needs signed. once you have it placed there, then take your pencil and trace the name. this will have transfered the signature onto the note. then take a pen and trace the signature. the signature is going to be very light with the pencil trick, which is why it is so easy to trace over with a pen and no ne even knowing that you traced it.

Show your parents the note, take the test again. Don't you think they can at least appriciate the fact that you are trying to raise it? Rather than leaving it as a 65? Explain to them that at least you are trying.

sign the paper your self. ok heres what you do. find an old signature that your parents did. (with pencil) ok now take the paper and with a pencil go over it making it go onto the other paper. That sounds confusing but if you understude it then do it..haha
