My freckles are really dark and ugly. Any ideas on how to make them fade permanently or temporarily? Can I get rid of them? Please help! I'm tired of being covered in polka-dots, whether they are angel kisses or not!
Melanie4981 answered Monday February 7 2005, 4:48 am: There is no natural way of getting rid of them.
I'm afraid that lemon juice may lighten them a little, but it won't be a great deal and it won't last very long.
Lemon juice is full of a mild acid so it may irritate your skin if you use it too often.
The best way to disguise them is to use a really good foundation with a built in sunscreen as exposure to the sun will make your freckles more prominent.
Another alternative is to get a facial tanner, and tan your face so it blends in with the colour of your freckle.
Obviously this only works if your freckles are light.

Peachgirly answered Sunday February 6 2005, 1:00 pm: You can use coverup like clinique or loreal. I also heard that using lemon juice makes freckles fade. but remember this always love and accept yourself for who you are and be happy with what you have. <3 Peachgirly [ Peachgirly's advice column | Ask Peachgirly A Question ]
