Religion

Question Posted Saturday February 5 2005, 5:08 pm

I'm asking this question for my friend who is twelve. Here's what she told me to say. "My friend doesn't go to church and doesn't understand how important religion is. I really want her to come to my church but she always has some excuse why she can't. What should I do?"

Well, you cant do anything. She is 12 and doesnt have a car so cant drive to your church. Like fabulouskay said, she might have a difforent level in religion and wants to go to her church!

You cant make someone go to church. I dont go to church and I am still religious. If she doesnt want to go, let her stay home. But I think its good that you tried to get her to go, atleast you tried.

First of all, everyone believes in different things and you friend believes that she doesn't have to go to your church. Religion isn't important to everyone and there is nothing you can do to change your friend's beliefs. The only thing you can do is to just talk to her and find out why she doesn't want to go to your church with you. Hope I helped :)

you absolutely cannot force your beliefs on another person. Religion is a personal thing. Religion isn't important for everyone- some people get along fine without it. If your friend doesn't want to go to your church-LEAVE HER ALONE.

tell your friend that just because religion is important in her family, doesnt mean it would be important in her friends. maybe her family doesnt believe in going to church or anything like that. not everyone does. but yes, i do believe in god so dont get me wrong.

Have your friend sit down and talk to her friend. They need to find a solution. Have your friend talk about how she feels religion is important. Have them come up with a set date they can go together. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck
