Interview for Foreign Exchange...

Question Posted Monday January 31 2005, 9:36 pm

Hi. I have the chance to be a foreign exchange student to Germany this coming school year (my senior year). I am so excited-this means the world to me. An interviewer is coming to my house in the next week---I am obviously so nervous about this. Does anyone have any tips in how to make this a smooth, successful event?

You should relax when the interviewer is there. Don't answer so nervously. Be calm and have fun. You should have a great time. Try to act like you are happy and proud of what you have done. Remember act calm.

Think about what you will need to say, especially if you need to speak German to the interviewer. Be prepared! Also, try to stay calm, or you might forget what you planned to say! It's always best if your house is tidy when the interviewer comes, and obviously be polite to the interviewer.

Good luck!

Well what i would do is just take a couple of deep breaths before hand. and maybe get your mom to give you some practice ?? so that way you'll be prepared! hope this helps!
