Solaris answered Saturday January 29 2005, 8:19 pm: I say dont go to graduation. It doesnt matter. 8th grade is a grade no one cares about. I didnt go to my graduation. Its the High School and college ones that matter. Go to the party. Itll be more fun anyways. [ Solaris's advice column | Ask Solaris A Question ]

And you don't want to feel bad later on if you decide not to go. There will always be other parties too. Hope my advice helps! [ gsngirl7's advice column | Ask gsngirl7 A Question ]
Drama_Secretary answered Saturday January 29 2005, 4:02 pm: Tell your parents how important it is to you. If they still say no then say "I am a part of this family and I believe that my graduation is more important than a party. You are my parents and should be supportive. This will be the only time for me to graduate, there will be other parties. And if you are chosing parties over what I want then what kind of parenting is that."
