Me and my best friend have been best friends for a while, but now that i got a boyfriend, she is acting all weird, and trying to prove herself to me. She told me she didnt like me going out with someone, and i dont know what to tell her, or what to do, because i dont want to break up with my boyfriend, so what do i do to make her ok w/ me again???
BeautifulMadness answered Thursday January 27 2005, 10:21 am: Just give her some time :) She's probably just jealous that you have found someone and she hasn't. She'll get over it - or learn to hide it - soon enough. And if she doesn't, you need to talk to her and say how much you miss how things used to be between you guys!

Friends are forever; boyfriends sail in and out like ships. Go shopping. If other people don't like the guy you are dating either, then maybe you should worry about breaking up.
This used to happen to me a lot. Just try not to be selfish and include her a little more. [ chaos's advice column | Ask chaos A Question ]

Don't tell her this, but she might be jealous that you have a BF (if she's single.) Invite her over to your house and do a lot of things with her. Maybe if you and your BF go to a movie, invite your friend to go. Maybe she'll become friends with your BF and you can all hang out. Remember to tell ehr that even though you have a boyfriend, she's still your best friend and you love her. (sisterly of course, lol)

Teza answered Wednesday January 26 2005, 9:20 pm: Your friend is probablly just jelous or maybe she doesn't want you and her to stop being friends just because of this guy. You should talk to her and just try to work this thing out. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
