Anyone know where I can buy a decent record player other than Ebay? I bought one off of there and it broke before the first song ended. Any web sites or store suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks!

Well my band teacher just broke his older one also and he said Best Buy and Circuit City sell them for a cheap price. (about $100) I want to get one too, actually, for my mom's birthday.. So try any electronics store, oh and amazon.com.. they have good stuff too.

You might also check to see if any local audiophiles have any advice - in fact, some audiophiles might have some decent old turntables they are willing to part with that will be in better shape than some of the shit people sell on eBay. Plus you can talk to the owner directly, and hopefully find out if it does work. [ Notso's advice column | Ask Notso A Question ]
