There are several things.. I get this all the time when I'm lying in bed. Sometimes you constrict your muscles, so they hurt like crazy.. like so bad I want to scream. And then other times, it's like a charlie horse, and when you get that just put some ice and then heat and then ice on it.. usually it will go away. And your volleyball could be the source, if you're sore it could be what's causing it..

Sounds like a Charlie Horse. It happens when you over work your leg. Try to put some pressure on it(Try rubbing it really hard in the area it hurts). It works for me when I play too much DDR!

Charley horse is a possibility. Shin splints are another and yes it was probably due to the 10 hrs of volleyball.

Volleyball is horrible. I play too. It does that sometimes lol. But yes, it probably is the volleyball. It will go away within a few days. Just cut back a little of the volleyball within the rest of the week. It should go away. If not, tell your parents or doctor.

It probably was, I have never heard of someone playing 10 hours straight of volleyball... I would think you would pass out. It happens to me a lot My muscle seems to tighten I think it's called a muscle spasm but I went to the doctor for it and they just said to strecth it more... If it happens again call your doctor but if it's only a one tiem thing I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't think you have a charlie horse but you may have pulled a muscle. Did you stretch before you played for 10 hours? Try resting it and ice it for now. Hope I helped :)

You probably pulled a muscle. Wait a few days and if the pain isint gone, go to the doctor. I had that exact pain because I didn't stretch out for dance, and like 3 days later it was ok. So i think you be fine!
