Oh no
I wanna take a friend on vacation with me in a month, but I'm really scared about what my other friends will say. I mean, I can't just not tell them!

Your other friends will feel jealous yea.. I took one of my friends on a snowboarding trip. Don't share to much of the trip with the others.. and be as less talkative about it as possible. Just keep up your friendship with the others too, you can go hang out with them, do special alone things with them too, it will make them feel more appreciated.

I know what you mean! I have so been there! you dont want them to think that you dont like them as much or anything but then again you cant just lie to them! So when it gets closer to when you guys are going just kinda tell them, "ya me and ______ r going to go somewhere over break or w.e, i still love you guys but we have been planing this for awhile.." something like that! But be careful not to be snotty about it!

You can take your friend with you just don't bring that you brought your friend with you. If they do find out make it up to them and if they dont understand then they might not be such good friends because they are jealous. I am just saying if you want my advice take it. Maybe you should tell your friends that you are going but leave out the part of your friend coming. And if they find out then just explpain how you did not want them to get mad at you.

My friend was in the same place as you. When we were in grade 8, she went to Florida and was allowed to pick a friend to go with her. She picked me and our other friends were kind of mad at her for awhile. They'll get over it though. Just next time you go on a trip, take your other friend, then so on and so on!

Its not like there not your friends if u just take one. Before you go on vacay have them all come over for a party and tell them how much they mean to you and that you would love to bring them all but u cant, so you decided to bring so and so. Have fun!

I know the feeling. You just don't want to hurt your friends. But they need to understand that you can't take everybody, uit's too much of a hastle.

I have been in the same situation many times because I have a big group friends. You are right you shouldn't just not tell them. So you should tell them right away. They will probably be hurt but eventually they will get over it. You should maybe spend equal amounts of time with the
friend(s)that you don't take on vacation therefore they don't maybe jump to conclusions that you don't like them. Or you could make it fair and maybe pick a name out of a hat. It may seem lame but it works. Good Luck and I hope it all works out!

Hey, Im sure your other friends will understand. Just explain to them that you'd love to take all of them...but you just cant. Maybe try and bring a different friend next time...and tell them next time you'll bring someone else. One of my friends took me on vacation and the rest seemed to understand and i dont think they got too jealous. How old are you? I think your friends will understand..espcially if you 13 or 14 or older. Your right, you cant just not tell them..just make sure they know you'd really like to bring them all , but thats not possible and I think they will understand. If they dont for some reason, post me a question and we'll take it from there

I've had a few friends come with me on vacation. Yes, it is hard to not tell them but they will find out one way or another. Next time you go on vacation invite another friend or maybe 2. Before or after the vacation do somethings with the friends that aren't going
