Okay, I liked this boy named Max for a while and then he was an idiot and I stopped liking him. He keeps coming up in my head and I am so obessesed with him and I don't want to be this way at all. I try not to think about him, but everything I think about some how relates back to him.
Anyways, recently I got an AIM from a guy claiming his name was Joe and he saw my picture from my friend Rem (who doesn't go to our skool) and he thought I was super hott. I asked how he knew Rem and he didn't remember. Joe said he lived in some place far from me and he really thought he had no chance with me. Once he mentioned he heard about my "boyfriend" which was a joke I played on Max a long time ago and I began to think that this "Joe" guy was really "Max" playing a prank on me. I told Joe that I don't think he's telling the truth on who he is and he just needs to admit hes Max. He finally did and then he denied it again! I just know it's Max and he AIM's me still being Joe and flirts with me all the time. Why was he such a jerk to me and now flirting? Is it just a thing between him and his friends to make fun of me? Or does he really like me? I'm so confused and I really need help! I'll rate super duper good! Thank you for bearing with this super long question and I'm sorry!

Well first.... Do you like Max? Once you have decided that then you can deal with whoever this person on AIM is!
If you ignore "Joe" for a bit and Max really starts talking to you more... then its Max.
This may be a prank but it may also be Max's way of playing hard to get! Maybe he doesn't know how else to talk to you and get you to like him back, so he does this!

i have this friend named elle. we always used to hang out together, but one fight and now she says " we shouldnt talk for a couple months" because we were such good friends that it hurt more..even if the fight was about somthing so small. shes found friends..only thats because sh turned them aginst me...i dont want to loose her as a friend...but what should i do??? just confront her...tell her i know u want a break from me but that doesnt mean u need to cut me off and turn my other friends against me! (but do it in a nice way!!!) and then.... all i can say is to just move on! if she is that great of a friend she will come back..other wise there are better friends out there...i am not saying to be mean to her i am just saying that you should be friendly with her but find someone else to do everything with!!

I know what you mean! I have so been there! you dont want them to think that you dont like them as much or anything but then again you cant just lie to them! So when it gets closer to when you guys are going just kinda tell them, "ya me and ______ r going to go somewhere over break or w.e, i still love you guys but we have been planing this for awhile.." something like that! But be careful not to be snotty about it!

Well...thats a tough one! You should confront your friend about it so you dont feel uncomfortable around her. But try to keep you feelings on the D.L (down low) for a while because sense she is your friend you dont want to ruin what she has going! She probably really likes this guy and it would be bad if you messed that up! But get to know him a little too...become friends with him that way in the future long after they have broken up you might have a chance with him...you never know!

Well, if you like him too you should let her know that...in a nice way...but you should let him know too. You dont want to lose a best friend over some guy! But maybe if you talk to her she might understand or you might...hopefully one of you will move on so all works out well but if it doesnt i think you should agree w/ her that its not worth losing a best friend over so tell him together (you have to be with her) that for now you think you should all just be close friends and hang out together instead of getting involved w/ the whole g/f b/f thing.

Well...idk that is hard! I kind of know what you are going through though. So all I can say is try one last time to talk to her and hang out with her but if she keeps ignoring you just call her or write her a note saying how you feel she is ignoring you and how she is ditching you. If that doesn't work...I say to try to make a new friend or even a new best friend if she leaves you just to be popular she isnt worth it! I am not saying to be rude to her you just don't have to hang out with her as much.

I've been friends with my best friend Kristen, for about a year or two. Recently I got with this guy, and him and I got into a conversation the other day about what we would give up for each other. I then realized, that I would give up my best friend Kristen, for this guy. Does that mean that I'm an awful friend? The way I look at it, it seems that my boyfriend has replaced my old best friend.. and he is now not only my boyfriend, but my best friend as well, which is why I feel I could give her up for him. I dont think you should give up on your best friend just yet! After all she has been there for you long then this boyfriend of yours...I know he is important to you but try to keep a strong relationship with you friend, Kristen, so will have her to go to just incase your boyfriend isn't your boyfriend forever. I mean if you think about it what happens if you guys break up? Will you still be best friends with him? Maybe not and you might need a best friend right then! Think about it!
