Boyfriend, or best friend?
I've been friends with my best friend Kristen, for about a year or two. Recently I got with this guy, and him and I got into a conversation the other day about what we would give up for each other. I then realized, that I would give up my best friend Kristen, for this guy. Does that mean that I'm an awful friend? The way I look at it, it seems that my boyfriend has replaced my old best friend.. and he is now not only my boyfriend, but my best friend as well, which is why I feel I could give her up for him. YOUR giving up your best friend for a guy!??!?!!? your krazi i would never give up a best friend for a guy i broke it off with a guy who said you cant hang with her and i was so pissed so i ended it anyways if he is making you choose him or her thats juss the begining of a whole lot more tests soon he'll be asking you if you wanna have sex with him or something that could damage you for the rest of your life and thats all i have to say *~!Hannah!~*

I dont think you should give up on your best friend just yet! After all she has been there for you long then this boyfriend of yours...I know he is important to you but try to keep a strong relationship with you friend, Kristen, so will have her to go to just incase your boyfriend isn't your boyfriend forever. I mean if you think about it what happens if you guys break up? Will you still be best friends with him? Maybe not and you might need a best friend right then! Think about it!

No you are not an awful friend! You are just so in love with this guy. He hasn't even taken the place of your friend friends and boyfriends are in two different catigories the reason you feel this way is probably because the time you used to spend with your friend is now time you spend with your boyfriend. To solve this cut down a bit on the boyfriend time and spend some time with your friend. Talk to your boyfriend about this first. If he's a good guy he will understand. I hope I helped.

well its natural to think that when your in love with someone. he is gonna be your best friend. but she is your best girl friend and that will never change. its not like your ever for any reason going to have to give one or the other up.

yea my boyfriend pretty much is my bf and my best friend.. and yeah he did take over of my best friends place because hes been there i see him alot more and yea it kinda sucks to tell ya the truth, but i dont think your an awful friend to give her up for a bf, but in her eyes , its the worst thing anyone could do.. but its not actually true, you just drift apart from eachother and your bf starts to take over. dont worry about it, its not the worst thing you could do to your friend. x0 Renee
