Karen answered Thursday January 6 2005, 12:08 pm: Hey, I just learned this a few months ago. The reciprocal for of 2.5 is 2 1/5 which is 5/2. You just have to flip the fraction. Hope I helped :)

metalkat86 answered Thursday January 6 2005, 12:37 am: the reciprocal of 2.5 is this: -2/5. i got this by making 2.5 into an irregular fraction: 5/2, and then, as the reciprocal of a positive is negative, i switched the numerator with the denominator and made it negative. hope i helped, later,
