xShOrTiEx answered Saturday January 1 2005, 2:09 pm: sometimes i sleep with my makeup on and my eyes dont get sore. try and wash the makeup off with good makeup remover for a couple of days. and make sure you have like no mascara or eyeliner on. sometimes they can get in your eye when the "bleed" (i dunno another word) and cause problems. xXxpinky615xXx answered Saturday January 1 2005, 1:35 pm: I sleep with make up on all the time. My eyes are never sore in the morning. I doubt it's from your make up. But anyway, wash your face with cold water and keep ice on your eyes. You'll be fine. Nothing to worry about at all. Hope this helped. S_C answered Saturday January 1 2005, 1:10 pm: I've done that before when I totally forgot I was wearing makeup. I've only gotten sore once or twice from that, but usually it takese anywhere from 2hours to a whole day. It sucks I know. You should try to make it where you remember to take off makeup before bed, but sometimes you just get to sleepy. At about 2 this morning I was about to watch some movies with a friend, and I was tired (being up all the previous night and then celebrating new years) so I thought I'd fall asleep, I got really tired before remembering I had makeup on. You just have to be careful. But yeah, usually it lasts anywhere from 1-2 hours all the way to a full day. Just try not to rub your eyes too much, and if it really hurts get like a washcloth and put ice in it, or just run it under COLD water for a minute or two, then just put it on your eyes. Hope I helped. Happy holidays. ~~~*KATE*~~~ [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
Karen answered Saturday January 1 2005, 12:13 pm: Hey, I do that all the time, you aren't stupid. The soreness may take a few hours or even a day, depending on how the soreness is and how much make up you had on. Try putting a face cloth over your eyes that is soaked in cold water. Or you could put two teabags over your eyes that have already been used and cooled down but still warm and I think that will help too but I'm pretty sure that's for the swelling of eyes. Hope I helped :)
